A certain Mr. Godofredo Rivera was employed by the plaintiff FORD as its General Ledger Accountant. 2. As such, he prepared the plaintiff's check for payment to the BIR. 3. Instead, however, for delivering the same of the payee, he passed on the check to a co-conspirator named Remberto Castro who was a pro-manager of the San Andres Branch of PCIB. 4.
